Who Participates?
Community Coalitions
Each community can have a group of unlimited size participate—share resources and materials with anyone in the city or county that can assist the coalition to be successful (just not beyond your community).
The primary audience is people who will be involved with developing and managing the strategy, such as the coalition steering committee, backbone organizations, and funders who want to support greater impact.
Some of the training and resources will be for community partners that will be involved in specific roles.
Organizations Not Participating with a Coalition
Single organizations (such as a church or a homeless shelter for women with children) will be either be grouped with other similar organizations and treated like a coalition, working together on the same topic, or teamed up with the coalition of their choice.
Individuals
Individuals who participate in the program independent of an organization will be teamed up with another coalition to follow along on their journey, working on the topic that they have selected.
Students and Volunteers
If you’d like to participate in the program as a college, university, or graduate student, you can apply as a student and participate in the entire program for $75.
If you’re not a student and want to volunteer time supporting the ARRCC in exchange for your program fee, you can volunteer 20 hours of service (rather than paying the $395 individual fee). There will be about 5 hours of training prior to doing your volunteer work to help build out the wiki.
Participants will be encouraged to meet with other relevant stakeholders between the monthly workshops to get input and refine the content being developed.
This is not about teaching people about brain science or the mechanics of specific trauma-informed practices. This is about the processes and tools to develop and implement the strategy to have a major, community-wide impact.
What does it cost to participate?
Price for a Coalition Pass
Price: $3,950
Returning Alumni: $1,800
Price for a Single Organization
Up to 5 people with a single organization can join. They will be grouped with other similar organizations or teamed up with another coalition for work on that coalition’s topic.
Price: $790
Price for an Individual Pass
(Individual Pass holders will be added to another coalition group with a similar focus area)
Price: $395

Volunteers can contact Liz Gallagher to get a free pass in exchange for doing 40 hours of volunteer support (after 5 hours of training on the ARRCC wiki).
