Accelerating Collective Impact in the State of Washington

This case study shows the impact that the combined use of strategy mapping and InsightVision can have on a small backbone organization working to lead an ambitious collective impact effort.   This shows the benefits that can be experienced in the first year.

TREAD - Trails for All is driving collective impact with a focus on 7 strategies:

  • Enhance and Improve Conservation and Sustainability

  • Expand and Enhance Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure

  • Improve Education/Advocacy about Outdoor Recreation and Cultural Awareness

  • Increase Representation of Underrepresented Groups in Outdoor Recreation

  • Strengthen Community-Powered Marketing and Travel

  • Improve Collaboration on Planning, Policies, Development, and Procedures

  • Mobilization and Coordinate More Volunteers for shared Stewardship of our lands

TREAD stands for Trails Recreation Education Advocacy and Development. Currently, they work with over 50 partners to enhance, improve, and protect our outdoor recreation assets (motorized, non-motorized, and all land types).
