Simplifying High Impact Public Health Performance Management

Most Public Health Departments struggle with how to adopt an approach to performance management that is not overly cumbersome and that actually adds value to their organization.

This Webinar will highlight ways that Public Health departments are taking advantage of training, technology and templates to deploy high-value performance management systems.

Participants in the Webinar will see how a well-crafted performance management system deployed using the InsightVision platform can improve alignment with the department’s strategy, streamline measurement, integrate with QI projects, and empower employees to drive improved outcomes.

The Webinar will also show how local health departments can tap into funding for community health improvement (e.g. CHIP, opioid crisis) as a way to cover the modest cost of acquiring software licensing.

The presenter, Bill Barberg, is a frequent speaker and trainer at national conferences and workshops.  He co-presented with a client in 2017 on Performance Management at the NACCHO Annual conference and is co-presenting on Public Health Performance Management with a different client at the 2018 NACCHO Annual conference.  He is the author of the chapter on “Implementing Population Health Strategies” for the new book, “Solving Population Health Problems through Collaboration” and is the recipient of the 2018 “Health Systems Transformation” Award from Communities Joined in Action.
